TRUCK MODIFICATION MECHANIC
Description:
As a Truck modification Mechanic you are responsible for various modification work on trucks. The company that needs these mechanics says the following: “Where required, we modify powertrains, re-position air systems, hydraulics or electrics, and shift components as necessary. In addition, we can perform the following modifications: wide-spread installation of driven tandem axles, hydrostatically driven front axles (X-Track), the installation of an additional steered Volvo pusher or tag axle, and more.” The work is as well in a team, but you can also work well independently
Requirements:
- You have followed education for truck/trailer/car/other heavy machinery AND/OR you have experience working as a truck/trailer/car/bus/agricultural mechanic (or any other kind of heavy vehicle/machinery)
- Knowledge of hydraulics and/or pneumatics is a big plus
- Knowledge of electrics in vehicles is a plus
- You speak and understand the English language
- You preferably know how to read technical drawings
- You have a positive attitude and don’t mind working overtime every now and then

- Salary 15-16 eur/h gross (500-600 eur/week on hand) + allowances (travel expenses, vacation pay)
