Description:
As a Service & Commissioning Engineer, you will independently carry out commissioning, service and maintenance work on electrical installations on board ships.
You will repair faults in sensors, cabling, system cabinets and other installation parts by replacing parts, adjusting settings, repairing parts, etc. You will actively think along when problems arise. Afterwards, you prepare service reports.
In addition, you commission new installations to be delivered, such as battery systems, hybrid installations, lifting and propulsion installations. You test cabling, sensors and systems for proper functioning. You detect and, of course, remedy sources of failure.
Ships can be anywhere in the world at the time of a breakdown. So you are prepared to get on a plane at any time to help the client get back on course as quickly as possible.
