We are looking for 3 maintenance mechanics for our client in Gent.
Our client is leading European producer of Molybdenum (Mo), a versatile raw material used in a variety of innovative products such as stainless steel and smartphones. The production site in North Sea Port has around 160 employees who produce different grades of Molybdenum for industries like metal, steel, chemical, and electronics.
DESCRIPTION:
- As a maintenance mechanic, you and your colleagues are responsible for the execution of the daily maintenance work on the installations.
- You have a varied range of tasks: assembly and disassembly of machine parts, adjustment of machines, maintenance of pumps
- You participate in the implementation of preventive maintenance and revisions.
- While performing your work, you take into account the applicable agreements regarding safety, the environment and quality.
REQUIREMENTS:
- You have a technical diploma in mechanics /electromechanics
- You have a good general knowledge of mechanical maintenance and welding techniques
- You have a good level of English
- You have knowledge of rotating equipment and piping is a plus
- You have a sense of responsibility and an eye for safety, order and tidiness
- You can work both autonomously and in a team
WE OFFER:
- Permanent work contract after 9 months
- Starting salary 23 EUR/H gross
- Approx weekly salary 630 EUR/week Net +160 EUR meal vouchers
- Extra- meal vouchers 8 EUR/workday, yearly bonus, insurance, bicycle allowance
- Housing- 120 EUR/week
